Toys you'll feel good about giving them

Nelokid started with a simple frustration: most toy shops are loud, plastic and forgettable. You buy something, it holds their attention for a week, and then it lives at the bottom of a box.

We wanted the opposite. Toys that a child comes back to on their own. Toys that look like they belong in your home rather than something you hide before guests arrive. Toys that quietly do something useful — build a bit of coordination, stretch a bit of imagination, buy you twenty minutes of calm on a Tuesday morning.

How we choose

We don't make our toys. We choose them, and we're fussy about it. Every piece in the shop has to earn its place against three questions: will a child actually play with it more than once, does it do something for them while they play, and would we be happy giving it as a gift.

If the answer to any of those is no, it doesn't go in the shop. That's why you'll find a few hundred pieces here rather than a few thousand.

What you see is what you get

Every listing tells you what's in the box, the real dimensions, and the age it's suited to. If something isn't included, we say so. Nothing about a Nelokid order should be a surprise when you open it.

We're a small shop

Nelokid is run by a small team, not a call centre. Email contact@nelokid.com and a person reads it — usually the same day, always within one working day.
